Hello! i’m DaniELLE

I’m a surface pattern designer and digital illustrator with a love for bold colors, clean shapes, and the natural world.

My work blends minimalism with vibrant energy or as I like to say: simplicity meets color explosion.
Inspired by flowers, leaves, and organic forms, I create modern botanical patterns and graphic floral illustrations filled with contrast, rhythm, and joy.

Whether you’re looking for striking wall art, unique surface designs, or playful digital prints, my work is here to brighten your space and spark inspiration.

My process

My process often begins on paper, where shapes and colors can flow freely. I like to explore different tools, each in their own way. With acrylic markers I create bold, confident lines and playful compositions. Gouache gives me the chance to work with deep, matte colors and a more painterly feel. And sometimes I switch to my iPad or sketchbook, depending on where I am and how I want to capture an idea.

What connects these approaches is the way I translate hand-drawn energy into strong digital designs. In Adobe Illustrator I refine and vectorize my sketches, shaping them into versatile patterns ready for a wide range of surfaces. This mix of free exploration and professional precision defines my work: colorful, modern and full of bold character.

SOURCES OF INSPIRATION

I draw inspiration from close observation of small details, bright color pops, graphic shapes and interesting textures. Whether I am on a nature walk where leaves, light and coastal skies spark ideas, or wandering through the city where colorful facades and cultural details suggest new layouts, these moments become the starting point for my surface pattern designs.
